Why did you choose this profession? And what makes it so enjoyable?

I initially graduated in psychology and have always found it interesting what motivates people. I also particularly enjoy solving puzzles within the law and the specialization itself.

In addition, I have a strong sense of justice and responsibility. These combinations all come together beautifully within this profession. It is special to be able to make a difference for someone with this.

What is your vision, drive, and mentality when advising and assisting a client?

Bringing a dispute to a successful conclusion requires collaboration. The client also plays an important role in this. With the client’s input and wishes, and my expertise, I can set a course and we can align the strategy. In doing so, I aim to achieve the best possible result.

What is your strength?

My strength is the ability to approach a problem in different ways. When something seems difficult, I dig my heels in and try to approach the problem from multiple legal angles, only letting go once I have found a solution.

What do you consider very important in your relationship with a client?

Open communication and trust. Ultimately, you have to do it together, which makes it nice when you can “find” each other.

When is a case successful?

Ultimately, a case is successful when the client is satisfied.

What makes working at Labour & Law fun, fascinating and engaging?

L&L is a firm that offers quality and is approachable. The client comes first, and substantive legal quality is held in high regard here.

Something we don’t know about you.

I enjoy working with my hands. This ranges from pottery to DIY projects around the house and gardening. My head is often full of ideas when it comes to DIY projects; I love getting things done, and I regularly have the conviction that I can do it myself. Things don’t always run smoothly, but it is precisely those moments when something beautiful emerges from my hands that make it more than worthwhile.

Furthermore, I love the tinkling of bells and the smell of wet streets after a summer rain shower.
