What makes working at L&L fun, interesting, and engaging?

Working at Labour & Law offers me the unique opportunity to gain practical experience during my law studies. It provides me with valuable insight into the legal profession and the daily operations of a law firm. My work at L&L deepens my knowledge and understanding of employment law and thus significantly contributes to both my academic and professional development. What also makes working at L&L so valuable is the open and collegial atmosphere within the team. There’s always room for a good conversation or a laugh, which creates a pleasant work environment where professionalism and commitment go hand in hand.

What is your vision, drive, and mentality when (advising and) helping a lawyer or the organization?

My vision when supporting a lawyer or the organization is focused on providing clear and effective support. This enables them to serve their clients in the best possible way. I strive to perform every task with precision and efficiency, ensuring that the advice and solutions we provide are of the highest quality.

What’s your strength?

My strength lies in my curiosity and eagerness to learn. With every research question, I’m excited to discover how something works. I find it challenging and stimulating to constantly acquire new knowledge and develop my skills. These qualities enable me to carry out my work with great pleasure and dedication.

Is there something we don’t know about you, but that’s fun to share? A surprising hobby, for example.

I was born and raised in Venlo. Carnival – also known as Vastelaovend – is an important celebration in our country. Every year, I spend several months designing and making costumes. Although I haven’t lived in Venlo for a few years now, it remains my favorite holiday and I will always celebrate it faithfully. I also aim to run all the World Marathon Majors. With New York and Berlin already on my list, I’m well on my way to achieving this athletic goal!
